Lg Blu-ray Player Bd550
Can this Blu-Ray player do what I’m looking for it to do?
I was looking to get this blu ray player:

It’s not the best, it’s not the worst but I noticed it has a USB like most players now.
My question is can this player play various file types (mp4,m2ts,avi ect) from a pen drive, in HD without having to jump through hoops? My TV has a USB already but it can only play ONE type of file (that being avi, and even then it struggles) needless to say, it sucks.
The actual model is LG BD550 Blu-Ray Player in case you can’t get on Amazon.

No. It’s limited in the type of files it can play back. I don’t see all the formats you listed. Per the LG webpage, it can do the following video playback types:
MPEG4 AVC, HP@L4.1, MPEG2, HP@ML, SMPTE VC1, AP@L3, MPEG2, HP@ML, AVCHD
